Brief History
Jeevan Jyothi College of Theology, located at Garacharma-II, Port Blair, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, India, is a ministry of Voice of Christ to the World Ministries, a church planting ministry that focuses on the Islands, mainland India, and beyond.
The Holy Spirit designed JJCT as an answer to our call from the harvest fields for producing local leaders for the end-time harvest in the islands. Even though the gospel reached the islands many years ago, mission work in these islands is still in its early stages because it has been run by mainland [Indian mission] leaders, and many of these leaders are not yet effective in working among the Islanders due to language barriers and cultural differences.
Most of the leaders do not want to return to these distant islands because of the lack of services for education, medication, transportation, and amusement for their children. In addition, many are called back by their organization after three or four years of deputation.
As a result, these islands are completely reliant on mainland missions, and there is no local leadership to facilitate effective evangelism. As a result, our ministry in these islands chose to train and equip local leaders to successfully carry on the Lord’s work in these islands.
Understanding all of these challenges and their passion for the people of Islands and nations, Dr. Raja Wilson and his wife Dr. Helen Sheeba Rani, the visionary leaders of Voice of Christ to the World Ministries, decided to train and equip local leaders to carry on the Lord’s work in these Islands effectively and among unreached people groups of nations.
JJCT provides students with theological education and also develops ministerial and leadership abilities in order to carry out the great commission. However, the primary goal of this college’s education is to teach what Jesus taught in order to advance men and women from observation to the manifestation of God’s power.

What Make Us Spcecial?
Who we are
Jeevan Jyothi College of Theology is a theological institution under the Voice of Christ to the World Ministries. The objective of this ministry is to train and raise leaders for the global spiritual harvest and the gospel ministry. JJCT provides students with creative Bible study skills to enable continuous study of the Scriptures. The core objective of the institution is to teach men and women what Jesus taught, moving them from observation to demonstration of God's power and developing them into influential leaders who can serve the community for holistic transformation.
Who we do
We are committed to demonstrating God's love for the underprivileged and destitute by serving them. Through various ministry activities, we care for the homeless and underprivileged by giving them with basic necessities such as shelter, food, and education. We educate young people to develop their personalities so that they can lead a disciplined and spiritual life and succeed in their future. In addition to theological education, we offer basic computer skills and spoken English in order to motivate and encourage learners to pursue higher education.
How it works
We provide both residential and non-residential programs, ranging from certificate to master's degree programs. We provide individual students with personalized attention in a spiritually supportive environment, as well as practical lessons. A well-equipped library and computer lab facilities assist students with their personal study and research activities on campus. We do our best to make education accessible and affordable for students. The hybrid form of online learning management systems allows professionals and employees to continue their studies at JJCT.
"I think that ultimately we will attain much more depth of understanding of Scriptures when we are able to study it in the company of a great number of scholars who all begin with the conviction that the Bible is completely true and absolutely authoritative."
-Wayne A. Grudem, quote from Systematic Theology: An Introduction to Bible Doctrine.
